We are a small UK charity working in Africa in Mgongeni an urban slum area of Mombasa, Kenya.  (Where we are) We aim to empower the people to take action to improve their environment and basic facilities. We hope that through training, education, improved healthcare  and a sports programme they will take control of their lives and provide a better future for their families.

The school we found in 2008 had 40 children in squalid conditions. MSP's school now has 150 poor and orphaned children in a rented building with a feeding programme. The community now has a new well and mosquito nets. Women have adult education and health education classes. We have now purchased a plot of land and we urgently need to build phase one of our own school to house next year's intake of children.
