Our Vision
The school and community facilities
The Mustard Seed Project plan to build a primary school in Mgongeni, Kenya with 12 classrooms where underprivileged children and orphans can receive a quality education in classes of 25 children. We shall also set up a feeding programme. We shall build a community centre with a library and computer suite. There will be workshops so that students and unemployed people can learn skills to enable them to find secure jobs.
A training and Micro-Business Programme
This will give training, finance and support to abandoned and abused mothers enabling them to start their own businesses and to support their families.
Community Empowerment Project
There will be a training and support programme to give people the confidence and ability to address many of the problems that add to the deprivation and poverty. The trustees are working closely with the elders and assistant chief who are actively supporting the programme.
